PRE-MARKET PLAY...

(listen to PAPERTRAIL playlist)

MAKE CHANGE...

Or in this case, make investments.

Payment solutions company Square (NYSE: SQ) made waves yesterday when it announced that its subsidiary, Cash App, will allow users to buy and sell stocks to put them in a wealthy position.

WHY THIS IS HAPPENING...

Square is no stranger to making bold moves from accepting Bitcoin to allowing CBD sales. Now, CEO Jack Dorsey says it's time to take Robinhood's customers help its users build wealth one fractional share at a time. With everybody and they mama being interested in trading and all the major brokers like Charles Schwab (NYSE: SCHW) and TD Ameritrade (NASDAQ: AMTD) going to $0 commissions, Square sees this as an opportunity to expand and show the world that just like Desus and Mero...

The brand is strong.

Robinhood started this no-fee investing trend years ago and everybody is finally catching up but that doesn't go over well for the Hood as its user base is nowhere near some of these other platforms which could hurt its growth. Robinhood has over 6 million users while Square's Cash App is living its best life with 2.5 times that at over 15 million monthly active users.

THE RETURN...

Square stock is up 2% this year.

FOR THE NEWB IN YOU...

A subsidiary is nothing but a company that is owned by another company, which is also known as the parent company. (ex. Cash App is a subsidiary and its parent company is Square.)

WHEN YOU SKIP THE LINE AT THE CLUB...

Just remember, if you're not first you're last.

Sir Richard Branson's Virgin Galactic might as well be butter baby because it's on a roll.

WHY THIS IS HAPPENING...

It's only been days since Virgin Galactic announced it's situationship with Under Armour (NYSE: UA/UAA) to make the flyest space travel gear around and now the company wants to make you a boss. The company has completed its merger with Social Capital (NYSE: IPOA), a company owned by one of the Golden State Warriors owners, Chamath Palihapitiya, in which Social Capital will take 49% ownership while Branson will still call the shots with 51% ownership.

This means that Virgin Galactic will instantly become a publicly trading company listed on the New York Stock Exchange come Monday and will trade under new stock symbol 'SPCE'. This will make Virgin Galactic the first-ever human spaceflight company to be publicly traded.

Virgin Galactic focuses on space tourism and owns a spacecraft that can carry 8 people (including 2 pilots) to space. Here's how the trip works:

  1. The spaceship is dropped from a jet-powered aircraft and uses a rocket motor to travel 3 times the speed of sound as it climbs through Earth’s atmosphere.

  2. It then floats weightlessly for a few minutes before gliding back down to land on Earth just like a regular plane.

Now, even though this sounds out of this world, so is the price. The cost of this staycation is gonna run you $250K per person so I wouldn't be surprised if most passengers are in the Billionaire Boy's Club.

THE RETURN...

Nothing to see here.

AND NOW A WORD FROM OUR SPONSOR...

It's about to get trill with real estate investing.

Just like the stock market, one of the things that hold most people back from investing in real estate is (drumroll please)...

Money.

That's why Kendra Barnes created the Real Estate Summit - to teach people like us creative ways to get into the game even if we don't have a ton of money. And once she told me she was doing another virtual summit from November 4th through the 6th centered around creative strategies to invest in real estate, I just had to share with my PAPERTRAIL fam.

Here's the lowdown of what you'll learn during this LIVE workshop:

  • How Ashley & Brett make $500-$6,500 PER DAY (yeah, you read that right) in rental income on properties they don’t even own!

  • How Sharnice & Byron bought a $500 mobile home and flipped it for a profit of $19,000, and how you can make crazy paper investing in mobile homes as well

  • How to invest in out-of-state properties using Gabrielle’s roadmap (She lives in LA and has rentals in Cleveland, but has NEVER been to Cleveland in her life)

  • How to follow Deandra's blueprint to use seller financing to fund your deals instead of dealing with banks

  • Why the foreclosure cleanout business is one of the industry's best kept secrets, and how to start your own using Danielle's strategies

...and so much more!

You also get the opportunity to ask questions live PLUS get unlimited access to the replays.

Kendra has decided to hold it down for the home team by offering a super exclusive early bird special just because you're a PAPERTRAIL reader.
