I’M BRINGING SEXY BACK...
But it might be too late to get your groove back Stella.
L Brands' (NYSE: LB) long-time baby maker company, Victoria Secret, just reported yet another quarterly loss and sales have dropped 7% year-over-year while its other company that's as litty as they come, Bath & Body Works, just reported that traffic hasn't increased in stores for the first time in 5 years. As Cam'ron would say, "What's really good?"
WHY THIS IS HAPPENING...
First off, Vicky had a little too much pillow talk with not so jazzy Jeff Epstein. Second, a head honcho has been too vocal about the transgender community. Lastly, the once illustrious fashion show doesn't draw in the same crowds as it once did simply because its marketing strategy is outdated leading to the cancelling of the show. Even the models themselves are saying, "Hey Vicky, get right or left." To top things off, competitors like Aerie, a subsidiary of American Eagle Outfitters (NYSE: AEO), have been taking market share by going natural and body positive.
Bath & Body Works same-store and online sales are down 2% compared this time last year as it continues to compete with the likes of Yankee Candle and Target (NYSE: TGT).
L Brands stock is down 40% so far this year.

POP THE TRUNK ON YOU...
Was only funny when Kevin Hart did it. Now, not so much.
Kroger (NYSE: KR) has added bouncer to its list of offerings similar to Wally World (NYSE: WMT) as it no longer will allow patrons to bring guns into their stores. So, next time you're holding and you go to buy eggs, you may have someone waiting for you at the door saying....
WHY THIS IS HAPPENING...
It's no secret that mass shootings are becoming as common as lace fronts over the past few years and Kroger ain't playing games with it knowing that customers are requesting more gun control reform. Just last year, Kroger stopped selling guns and ammo altogether at its Fred Meyer stores after the Parkland, FL shooting.
Kroger's stock is down 12% so far this year.
